



Packaging Process
Built in 1997, the packing facility is amongst the most modern
in Sri Lanka. It encompasses tea warehousing, tea processing, quality assurance and marketing, all under one roof.
Our lines of tea bagging machines are capable of producing 1.5 million teabags per day (with or without envelopes). The state-of-the-art tea bagging machines produces staple-free, knot technology teabags. Each teabag produced by these machines is optically scanned to ensure a defect free, safe for use product. We also operate an automated tea blending machine with a capacity of 10 metric tonnes per hour. In-house, we have the ability to manufacture Chinese and Japanese type green tea, and we are also certified to produce organic green tea - a unique capability in Sri Lanka.
